General description

This classic ex-work ship, built in 1924, is well maintained and has an air-started main engine made by MWM type RH 422 S, 6 cylinder and delivers 88 hp at 700 rpm according to the off-take certificate that is still there.

The gearbox is a BHS Stoeck light from 1946. If the engine runs briefly at 1100 RPM, it delivers 150 HP.

The Electra 1 sailed like a welding boat in the port of Rotterdam with two welding stations and a generator.

So the boat never worked like a tugboat.

The auxiliary engine is a Lister that provides the starting air by driving a compressor for the main engine.

This auxiliary engine is easy to start by hand.

The hull of this yacht is of the Amsterdammer type and was built in Germany in 1924 as a work boat and came to the Netherlands in 1946 and was then equipped with the 6-cylinder MWM.

She was employed as a work ship until 1991 and was never used as a tugboat, and was subsequently converted into a recreational ship at the "de Roterij" shipyard in Oud Gastel, the Netherlands.

The ship is equipped with many hydraulically operated items such as rudder, anchor winch, reverse gear control, the latter can also be operated when the engine is not running by means of an electric / hydraulic pump, also there are preparations made for building in a hydraulic bowprop.

There is a Victron Phoenix Multi 24/1600/40 battery charger / inverter on board that charges the batteries and delivers 240 volts on board during the journey, which is connected to its own set of batteries.

There are also 2 solar panels mounted on the roof that supply 2 230 Ah batteries with 560 watts of solar energy.

1 starter battery, pre-heating, 120 Ampere (only in cold conditions, the engine itself starts with compressed air).

The ship is also equipped with central heating with an oil-fired Webasto water heater that keeps it pleasantly on board even in winter.

The last site visit was in 2015, a report on the soil thickness was also prepared and the result was: State: Good condition!

The ship was then completely repainted on the outside and the underwater ship was then painted.

It has a depth gauge from NASA video hydrograph and a Raymarine VHF radio.

Electrolux refrigerator 220 volts, 12 volts and gas, also a four burner gas stove is mounted.

The ship has a wheelhouse with fixed steering seat, two sofas with storage space that can be converted into a double bed, in the kitchen, a double dinette that can be converted into a cot.

At the front with a bathroom with shower, 24v toilet with grinder, washbasin and bathroom furniture, a wardrobe, cabin with double bed and various storage options.
